Painting process is use an air gun to spray a uniform coating on the surface of the product. After leveling, preheating and drying, the coating solidifies, which plays a decorative and protective role on the glass bottle. The added value of the sprayed product is improved.
Painting Process
1.Load bottle
- The material handler moves the incoming materials to the designated loading location and checks whether the incoming material number is consistent with the material number of the current shift;
- Check the yield of the incoming materials in the previous section to see if there is any mixing;
- Check whether the mold head of the conveyor belt is consistent with the product to be produced and whether there is any mixing of mold heads;
- Put the clear bottles onto the mold head of the conveyor belt in order and press them to ensure that the bottles are fastened.
2.Wipe bottle
- According to the quality of incoming materials from the previous process and the requirements of product adhesion test, products with special requirements for cleanliness need to be pre-treated by wiping bottles;
- Wear gloves on both hands, use a dust-free wipe cloth dipped in alcohol to wipe the products on the conveyor belt clockwise for 2 circles, and then wipe counterclockwise for 2 circles to ensure that the products achieve the wiping effect;
- When wiping, two people should operate with both hands at the same time to ensure that each product is wiped.
3.Flame treatment
- Equip a sufficient number of flame guns, which should have combustion gas of sufficient pressure and purity to ensure the flame treatment effect;
- Adjust the distance, angle and flame width of the flame gun to achieve the best effect.
4.Dusting with electrostatic
- The products pass through the electrostatic dust removal gun on the conveyor belt to remove dust on the surface of the products and improve the cleanliness of the product surface.
5.Primer painting
- After the product passes through the primer spraying area, the base paint is sprayed on the surface of the product under the action of the spray gun, which plays a role in improving the adhesion of the product; at the same time, multiple spraying can reduce the poor particle size of the product after spraying, making the surface spraying effect of the product delicate and uniform;
- The first piece confirmation must be done when adjusting the paint ratio during the production process.
6.Surface painting
- The product passes through the spray gun area at high speed;
- The adjusted topcoat is atomized and evenly sprayed onto the product surface at the muzzle under the action of the filtration system and high-pressure delivery pump;
- Regular sampling is carried out to determine the effect after spraying; the adjustment of the paint ratio during the production process must be confirmed by the first piece.
7.Advection
- After spraying, the product slowly passes through the advection area, so that the topcoat can achieve better uniformity and glossy effect under the dual effects of gravity and rotation.
8.Preheat
- The product passes through the conveyor belt and the preheating zone to allow the primer and topcoat to achieve initial curing.
- The curing temperature should not be too high and should be cured slowly; if the curing temperature is too high or too fast, cracking will occur.
9.Solidify
- The product passes through the curing area to completely cure the primer and topcoat to achieve a better gloss effect;
- Adjust the curing energy and time according to the different properties of the paint.
10.unload bottle
- Operators take the products off the assembly line in order and place them into designated packaging boxes as required.
11.Bottle inspection
- Wear work gloves, pick frosted bottles(Standard is provided from QC)
- Workers unload bottles from the line in accordance from the order, and then put into the designated packing boxes.
12.Packing
- Prepare boxes and crate labels according to the packaging specifications .
- Packers pack products in accordance with specifications of the product packaging.
- Pack the frosted bottles and stamp labels(Standard is provided from QC). When packing, checking whether there are missed, mixed or multi-installed. Crates must be neatly stacked and make a single mark.
